Price List

There is no charge or obligation for the initial meeting to discuss your ceremony. This discussion can be done in person (which is best) or via phone or email. It is difficult to create an exact pricing guide as it varies greatly based on the services required but here are some general guidelines. Also, I will file your marriage license with the clerk of court. If you paid to have a notarized copy mailed to you, the clerk of court will mail this to you in about 10 - 14 days after filing.

To simply perform a marriage (Justice of the Peace style ceremony), the fee is $50. These are more standardized ceremonies and I offer the following options: a civil ceremony, a ceremony with a closing prayer, a more religious ceremony with opening and closing prayers. For each of these types you may choose to use "I Do" vows, "Repeat After Me" vows or write your own personal vows.

For all other personalized or traditional ceremonies, fees may vary but will be stated in the written contract. The fee will include my presences at a one hour rehearsal during the week before the ceremony if desired.

If your ceremony is to take place outside of the greater Baton Rouge area, an additional fee is charged for travel expenses and is based on travel time.

Additional fees will be added for help with planning your ceremony, writing vows, researching traditions, etc. Fees will be based on the time spent performing these services. These fees will always be discussed before any services are provided and will be included in the written contract.
